Relocalization shows its true colors when it's taken seriously AND as a game or a play . . . a few exercises |

Who'd a thunk it?
Radical relocalization sounds so damn serious, and we are talking about our lives here! But lest we forget, our efforts unfold more easily, with greater juice and love - and people respond to them and us better . . . all that when we focus our efforts in the spirit of play. It's serious AND it's a play!In some important way, our most serious efforts are also a game. Knowing this is what puts us in the spirit of the flow. It's hard to remember that when the manure has just hit the windfarm, as it does regularly I know. I mention this play aspect because there are hard things to deal with and keep in mind as we look at how we're responding to what's going on. It helps to remember that it's a play. We're going to forget! We're going to forget lots of times. For me, learning to see that it's a play is a practice. It's at the heart of what meditation is about, what group work is about, what various techniques for inner mastery are about - learning not to take ourselves so seriously and to "be ourselves." Play, like laughter is hard to fake. The fact that relocalizaton is easily playful is a sign that relocalization is in the right place at the right time. Things are falling apart, but relocalization keeps coming together. It's as if it "wants to happen." Relocalization is evolution offering us the next thng. But that first step, it's a doozy . . .
